Hi, I’m Dr. Lisette Saleh

Navigating pregnancy can feel overwhelming with so much information available and so many unanswered questions. It’s not just about tracking your baby’s size each week – It’s about understanding the real, practical aspects of what to expect. Questions like, “Is it safe to dye my hair?” or “What do I actually need to do between now and my next appointment?” shouldn’t be left unanswered. With my background as a nurse and nurse scientist, combined with a passion for supporting mothers, I’m here to provide personalized, clear, and reliable guidance. I’ll help you make sense of medical terminology, answer your pressing questions, and bridge the gap between appointments so you feel confident and prepared at every stage. Let’s work together to make your experience as smooth and empowering as possible.

Did you know??

  • Did you know that, on average, women spend only about 2-3 hours in total speaking with their provider during their entire prenatal care?

  • Did you know that many women rely on platforms like Google, TikTok, and other social media to find the information they need? However, they often face the challenge of sorting through content to determine what is accurate and relevant to their unique needs.

  • Did you know that patients who participate in prenatal or childbirth education and are well-informed about their medical options have a more positive birth experience?

  • Did you know most women only see their provider ONE TIME AFTER GIVING BIRTH?! Often only for 10-20 minutes of time.

  • Did you know that in order to receive the same level of support and education as these services, you’d need to hire at least two professionals and attend 3-4 different classes?

  • Did you know that nurses have been ranked the most trusted profession for the last 22 years with the exception of 2001 when law enforcement took the top spot after 9/11?

What is a Perinatal Nurse Coach?

The arrival of a baby is an incredibly joyful time but also brings with it a period of transition with many unknowns. While much focus is placed on labor and birth, the postpartum period—when you’re home—is often overlooked. It’s similar to planning a wedding, we often focus on having a wedding planner for the wedding day but there is no one to support us when it comes to navigating the marriage itself. As a nurse with expertise in perinatal care (the time from conception up to one year after birth), I provide evidence-based, realistic education to help families navigate this transition. I aim to be more than just a medical resource—think of me as your trusted friend and personal Google to provide answers to your questions, provide guidance, or just lend a listening ear.

I understand that life changes drastically during this time, from daily routines to relationships and work-life balance. My goal is to validate your feelings, help you find solutions, and support you through these challenges. My skills as a Registered Nurse Certified In Inpatient Obstetrics and Certified Doula combined with your desire to learn and feel empowered about your body and experience will be a winning combination for your success.

Testimonials

“My husband and I decided to make Lisette part of our birth team as our doula. This was my first baby and being able to make informed choices about our birth experience was not only important to me but it also empowered my husband to take an active role in supporting me. Lisette, was invaluable not only in the knowledge and experience she offered but in the patience and support she provided. We had a wonderful birth experience, and we highly recommend her.” CASEY W.

“Lisette was my go-to person during my high-risk pregnancy at the age of 40.  This was my first child and I was pretty overwhelmed with different doctors and so many appointments.  Lisette had a way of helping me understand everything while also keeping my spirits up by making me laugh…she is very funny!  Lisette made me feel heard and no question was too stupid or mundane.  I can’t recommend her services enough. She is amazing! ” KATHERINE J.
